These terms apply to your use of getlda.pt and to the company registration services arranged through it, provided by GetLDA.pt ("GetLDA.pt", "we").
1. What we do
GetLDA.pt is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice itself. We collect the information needed to form your company and connect you with independent, licensed Portuguese lawyers, who prepare and file the incorporation and are responsible for the legal services they provide. Where you ask, we also refer you to certified accountants.
2. Your information
You must provide complete, accurate and truthful information and documents, and you confirm that you are authorised to provide information about every partner, manager and beneficial owner you list. Registrations can be delayed or refused by the authorities if information is missing or incorrect.
3. Fees
Our service fees are shown on the website and confirmed before work begins. Government fees (such as registry and name certificate fees), translations, apostilles, virtual office services and third-party costs are charged separately. Prices exclude VAT where applicable.
4. Timelines
Timelines shown on the website are estimates. The final decision on company names and registrations belongs to the Portuguese authorities, and we cannot guarantee a particular outcome or date.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel before the registration is filed. Work already carried out and government fees already paid may not be refundable; the applicable conditions are confirmed in writing when you place your order.
6. Liability
The content on this website, including our guides, is general information and not legal or tax advice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of that information alone. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Portuguese or EU law.
7. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Consumers may also use an alternative dispute resolution entity; information is available on the Portal do Consumidor.
